Shining Light Productions is delighted to announce that AXED has been selected for the LONDON INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL 2012!! Axed will screen at The Shortwave Cinema in London on Friday the 13th (when else?!) of April. Director Ryan Lee Driscoll will be doing a Q&A afterwards. Festival Director, Erich Shultz was keen to give the tense thriller a prime screening slot and thanks all those associated with it for delivering such a "great film".

This white-knuckle thriller about two couples from the city roughing it in the wild is an exhilarating break from the usual quirky indie comedies and gay road movies that typically fill film fest schedules. A radical environmentalist who's not what she seems is the linchpin to the violence that erupts onscreen.

eXtracted receives Texas size kudos at South By Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas this week. The film screened in the Emerging Visions section of the film festival this week and received more than enough kudos from media, bloggers, filmmakers, and tweeters.

eXtracted will screen in the Emerging Visions section of the South By Southwest (SXSW) film festival!
The film section of the festival will be held March 9th through the 17th. SXSW says that the Emerging Visions section seeks audacious, risk-taking artists in the new cinema landscape that demonstrate raw innovation and creativity in documentary and narrative filmmaking. It's safe to say that SXSW has done their research as eXtracted and its director, writer and producers are not only audacious and take risks, they create art in a way that is cutting edge, innovative and original.
